  • Schools

    Port Gardner is home to Jackson Elementary and Sequoia High School. Both schools are within the Everett School District.

  • Community gardens

    We’re home to two community gardens — Bond St. and Charles St.

    Bond Street is home to a floral garden and Charles Street is garden with fresh produce.

  • History

    Port Gardner is the second-oldest neighborhood in Everett. The influential Rucker Family made their homestead here in the late 1800s (you can still see their family mansion on Rucker Hill).

  • Riverside development

    There’s a new development in Port Gardner between Interstate 5 and the Snohomish River. The project includes hundreds of brand-new homes and a forthcoming retail center.

  • Urban walkability

    Port Gardner is within close proximity to coffee shops, restaurants, a seasonal farmers market, the library, and downtown events. Enjoy the neighborhood on foot!

  • Parks & bikeability

    Several bike lanes intersect the neighborhood. Port Gardner comprises several green community parks.

  • Districts within PGNA

    The large district of Port Gardner is actually comprised of several small districts: Lower Rucker, Upper Rucker, Riverfront, and Longfellow.
